Martina Meinders Michael has cultivated a thriving international career in the shipping industry over the last four decades. Originating in Hamburg during the 1990s as a Chartering Assistant, Martina now holds the position of Managing Director at Marin Shipmanagement Ltd. (MSM) in Cyprus, a prominent Ship- and Crew-Management company and a proud member of NSC-Group in Hamburg. Martina also assumes the Director role in various affiliated Holding- and Ship Owning companies in Cyprus.

In 2015, Martina’s global management perspective and foresight earned her the prestigious MBA (Executive MBA in Shipping and Logistics) from the Copenhagen Business School in Denmark. Committed to fostering systematic engagement, she actively collaborates with local associations and professional bodies in the countries MSM operates within, including Cyprus, Manila, China, and Myanmar. As a board member of CYMEPA in Cyprus and a member of WISTA CYPRUS, Martina continues to play a crucial role in the company’s membership of the Cyprus Shipping Chamber.

While overseeing Marin Shipmanagement from Cyprus, Martina confronts daily challenges that demand swift and efficient international decisions, showcasing her agile and holistic management style. Her emphasis remains on fostering collaboration and productivity within her multi-cultural teams.
